Sandra Micallef

Born in the tiny Mediterranean island of Malta, Sandra came to Australia in 2000, with her husband and two children. One day in August 2005, when her husband was overseas on a trip and the kids were away camping, she went to a bead store, bought some beads and tools, and started beading. Friends and family members saw her jewellery and soon started asking her to make necklaces and bracelets for their special occasions too. The rest, as they say, is history. Some of the designs Sandra makes are her original pieces, while others originate from ideas taken from beading and fashion magazines. Sandra also attended a week long course with renowned beading artist Leeza Silverman, where she learnt more about wire work and French beading

Belinda Micallef

Belinda is Sandra's sister-in-law. She is very artistic and loves doing crafty things. Belinda loves creating unusual jewellery designs with Sandra and is always on the look out for new market trends. Having worked in retail for several years, Belinda has more than 10 years experience in jewellery sales, has excellent people skills and always has a smile for her customers!!
